Ideal destinations for antiques hunters

The antiques are sought after due to their interesting messages and stories in the past. Here are the most appealing spots for domestic and abroad antiques hunters in Ho Chi Minh City.

Le Cong Kieu Antique Street

Le Cong Kieu Street is about 300 meters long, bordered by Pho Duc Chinh and Nguyen Thai Binh streets, filled with more than 40 large and small shops selling antiques from the last century. Each shop here mainly sells only one to two antiques ranging from ceramics, bronze castings to worshiping and household appliances. Beside these, some shops also sell fine arts and large art paintings. The street is busy from about 7:00 am to about 6:00 pm daily when the street lights up. The teapots of the Nguyen Dynasty, the white glazed ceramic cups of the Ly - Tran Dynasties, sandstone statue of Champa God or Mantle lamp, cassettes, and the Indochinese banknotes are all aged. Every day, hundreds of tourists and locals come here to take pictures and carefully select antiques. Antique lovers classify antiques by beautiful designs, unique materials, intactness, especially their ages.
